“What’s new since the renovation: moving forward with educational initiatives at the Botanic Gardens.” is the subject of Director Michael Marcotrigiano’s special tour of the gardens for ‘56ers.

 
   
  Brown Art Center (Friday)
    Susan Rodriguez, architect, Jessica Nicoll, director and curator, and Debbie Ross Jannotta ‘56, major donor, will give special presentations and lead the tour entitled “The ’56 Art Connection –creative and supportive – viewpoints on the importance of art at Smith.”  
   
    Saturday Afternoon Program
    Invited Smith Professors Sue Freeman, psychologist and Professor of Education and Child Studies, and Martha Ackelsberg, Professor of Government and Women’s Studies will discuss “Women’s Activism, Influence and Leadership,” moderated by Jill Ker Conway, past president of Smith, author and honorary ’56 classmate.  
 
  Sunday Morning Workshop
 

Suzanne Harris Baer, PhD and other ’56 facilitators will lead “Illuminate Your Life” workshops giving classmates the opportunity to share life experiences and prepare for a creative and fulfilling future.
